Christopher Watkins is an associate in the litigation section of the firm. His current practice involves toxic tort, products liability, personal injury, and general commercial litigation.  He was named a "Texas Rising Star" in a 2007 survey conducted by Texas Monthly magazine.

Prior to joining the firm Mr. Watkins' practice consisted of representing doctors, hospitals, nurses, dentists, chiropractors and nursing homes in defense of health-care liability claims, general personal injury litigation, construction litigation, and insurance bad faith and coverage claims.

Mr. Watkins is experienced in handling a wide variety of litigation matters such as medical malpractice, personal injury, asbestos and chemical exposure, and products liability, including:

  • First-chair trial counsel representing a dentist in a dental malpractice claim in Montgomery County, Texas.
  • First-chair trial counsel representing an individual in a motor vehicle personal injury claim in Harris County.
  • First-chair trial counsel representing a major dental chain in a dental malpractice bench trial in Harris County, Texas.
  • First-chair trial counsel representing an individual in a motor vehicle property damage bench trial in Harris County, Texas.
  • First-chair trial counsel representing an insurance company in a bad faith and breach of contract bench trial in Brazoria County, Texas.
  • Second-chair trial counsel representing a national nursing home company in a neglect and abuse case in Harris County, Texas.
  • Former Aircraft Owners & Pilot's Association (AOPA) panel attorney providing counsel to members regarding FAA enforcement proceedings.
