J.P. Whalen is an associate in the corporate section of Porter & Hedges. His primary focus involves corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions, governmental compliance and corporate financing transactions.

While in law school, Mr. Whalen served as articles editor of the Houston Law Review. Additionally, he is a member of the Order of the Coif and Order of the Barons.
