Joshua Wolfshohl is an associate in the bankruptcy and corporate sections of Porter & Hedges. Mr. Wolfshohl's practice focuses on corporate reorganizations and restructurings, acquisitions within the bankruptcy context, and creditors' rights. His experience includes representing corporate clients in cases involving complex commercial litigation and a wide range of bankruptcy issues, including institutional and corporate creditors in some of the country's largest Chapter 11 cases. Mr. Wolfshohl's practice also includes general civil litigation in both federal and state courts.  He has been named a "Texas Rising Star" in surveys conducted by Texas Monthly magazine in 2007 and 2008.

Prior to joining Porter & Hedges, Mr. Wolfshohl served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Wesley W. Steen of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, a judicial intern to the Honorable Manuel E. Leal of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas and an intern for the Office of the United States Trustee in Houston Texas.

  • Representation of international financial institution in a variety of bankruptcy litigation matters.
  • Representation of Asbestos Future Claims Representative in ABB Lummus Global Inc. bankruptcy case.
  • Representation of Chapter 11 examiner in Morningstar Gas, Inc. case.
  • Representation of Bridgeline Holdings, L.P. in connection with preference litigation in Borden Chemicals and Plastics Operating Limited Partnership bankruptcy case.
  • Representation of Chapter 7 Trustees in connection with matters related to estate liquidation and administration.
  • Representation of several creditors in the Chapter 11 cases of Calpine Corp., et al. and Reichmann Petroleum Corp.
