Harris Stamey is an associate in the litigation section of Porter & Hedges and has been involved in a variety of complex commercial litigation cases in state and federal court. Mr. Stamey has assisted large corporations, local companies, partnerships and individuals as both plaintiffs and defendants. His experience includes:

• Breach of contract and business torts
• Oil and gas litigation
• Employment disputes
• Construction litigation

While in law school, Mr. Stamey was inducted into the Order of the Lytae, served as a member of the South Texas Law Review and an officer and director for the Board of Advocates. Mr. Stamey was also a two time semi-finalist in the J. Braxton Craven National Moot Court Competition in Chapel Hill, NC and a quarter-finalist in the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition in San Diego, CA.
