Porter Hedges Named to The National Law Journal’s 2012 Midsize Hot List

Firm ranked among national leaders for the second time in three years

HOUSTON, April 23, 2012: Porter Hedges LLP has been named to The National Law Journal’s 2012 Midsize Hot List, ranked among the top 20 firms across the country that “are good at what they do, but they're also good at how they do it.” This marks the second time in three years that the firm has been named to this list. This recognition is awarded annually to firms with 51 to 150 lawyers who have “demonstrated creative strategies to stay competitive.”

According to The National Law Journal, professional skills and outcomes were just some of the criteria in selecting the list. Firms were also recognized for “spotting legal trends while they're still emerging and positioning themselves to take advantage; pioneering billing arrangements that deliver results at prices clients can actually afford; building groups of attorneys who work well together and stick around to serve their clients for the long haul.”

“Last year was the most successful year in the 30-year history of Porter Hedges, and we appreciate The National Law Journal once again recognizing us on the Midsize Hot List,“ said managing partner Robert Reedy.
