Peter Irot is an associate in the litigation section of Porter & Hedges. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Irot worked as a business process consultant for a large international business management and technology consulting firm. As a consultant, he worked primarily in the oil and gas and utilities industries, assisting clients with a wide variety of technical and management matters, from back office systems and customer relationship management to utilities deregulation.

 In law school, Mr. Irot served as the chief articles editor for The Review of Litigation.
