Throughout our firm's history, we have tried securities cases in state and federal courts in Texas and throughout the country. This includes a distinguished record in arbitrating securities cases before panels of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Several of our trial lawyers serve on the Panel of Arbitrators of the NASD and/or the AAA, reflecting the high regard for the firm's nationally recognized corporate and securities transaction practice.
Representative Cases:
- Represented major petroleum engineering company against claims of excessive valuation of reserves. Secured summary judgment on behalf of client.
- Represented day trader in claims by hedge fund investors for reimbursement of monies paid in settlement of debt to day trader by hedge fund manager. Secured dismissal of case and all claims on eve of summary judgment hearing.
