Her practice involves business and commercial litigation as well as bankruptcy matters. Prior to joining Porter Hedges, Caroline was an associate at Doyle, Restrepo, Harvin & Robbins, LLP, where she worked on commercial litigation cases, with a focus on insurance coverage cases in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
While in law school, Ms. Poarch interned for the Federal Communications Commission - Media Bureau and the United States Senate, Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Homeland Security and was a summer associate for Sony Electronics, U.S. Office of External Affairs. Additionally, she was named a Marshall Brennan Fellow and served as a staff member for the American University, Washington College of Law Journal of Gender, Social Policy and the Law. Ms. Poarch speaks, reads, and writes fluent French. |
