Ms. Ables' practice focuses on corporate reorganizations and restructurings, acquisitions within the bankruptcy context, and creditors' rights.
Prior to joining Porter Hedges, Ms. Ables served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Bill Parker of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul E. Danielson of the Arkansas Supreme Court. While in law school, Ms. Ables earned certificates for academic excellence in bankruptcy and legal ethics. She was a 2008 recipient of the Edward J. Bogen Memorial Scholarship in Law. |
