In 2010, he was named a "Texas Rising Star" in Estate Planing and Probate in a survey conducted by Texas Monthly magazine.
Mr. Rasmussen's practice involves all aspects of wealth preservation planning, including wills and trusts, marital property agreements, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, income tax planning, and business planning. Mr. Rasmussen also assists clients with the formation and administration of private foundations and other tax-exempt entities, and works with individual clients to help them fulfill their charitable goals while obtaining estate, gift and income tax benefits from appropriate charitable planning.
Estate administration and trust administration are also central to Mr. Rasmussen's practice, which encompasses post-mortem tax planning, estate taxation, fiduciary income taxation, guiding executors through the probate and estate administration process, and advising trustees on a wide range of trust administration matters. |
