"The plan to continue ignoring the mortgage crisis," Houston Chronicle
Real estate partner George Craft was quoted by the Houston Chronicle in an article regarding changes the federal government made to the Home Affordable Refinance Program, ("HARP").
According to Craft, program modifications could potentially help a million more homeowners, but the benefits may only help areas with the weakest market.
"The program will be negligible for homeowners in the Houston area, where declines in home values have been more modest than other parts of the country and where foreclosure rates have remained stable, Craft said."
