Porter Hedges Elects Three New Partners for 2013

Houston, Texas, January 17, 2013 -- Porter Hedges announced today that three lawyers have been elected as partners effective January 1, 2013. The new partners are Jason Lloyd (finance), Kevin Poli (corporate), and Kevan Richards (real estate).

Mr. Lloyd’s practice focuses on the representation of financial institutions, mezzanine lenders, SBICs, borrowers, and issuers in a wide variety of syndicated, club, single-lender, and capital market financings, including general working capital facilities, letter of credit facilities, asset-based facilities, cash flow financings, public debt offerings, project financings, and leveraged buyout and acquisition financings.

Mr. Poli’s practice focuses on representing public and private companies in a broad range of corporate and securities matters including equity and debt capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, SEC compliance, corporate governance, and general corporate matters. He has represented clients in the upstream and midstream energy, construction, clean tech, gasification, and manufacturing industries. He also represents investment banking firms, investors, and issuers in capital market transactions.

Mr. Richards’ practice focuses on representing purchasers, sellers, borrowers, developers, lenders, landlords, and tenants in all types of real estate transactions. He has represented clients in the acquisition and disposition of raw land, rural land, office buildings, industrial properties and shopping centers; the financing, modification and workouts, and ultimate foreclosure on various real estate projects; the reorganization, amendment and operation of condominium projects; the leasing of all types of property; the preparation of loan documents for regional and national banks; and general corporate matters from organization issues and contract review to dispute resolution.
