The National Law Journal Names Porter Hedges on the '2015 Midsize Hot List'
Firm ranked among national leaders for the third time in six years.
Porter Hedges LLP has been named to The National Law Journal’s ‘2015 Midsize Hot List’. This recognition is awarded annually to only 20 firms with 51 to 150 lawyers who have “demonstrated creative strategies that keep them competitive against much larger law firms.” These firms “build cultures that attract and retain top talent” and “take pains to understand and serve their clients' needs.”
According to the NLJ, keys to the firm’s success include playing to its strengths in its home market of Houston, a performance-based compensation system for partners, and a one-person/one-vote governance model.
This marks the third time in six years that the NLJ has named Porter Hedges to this list (2010, 2012).
