David Mann is an associate in the energy section of Porter Hedges. His practice is focused primarily on energy transactions, including those involving oil and gas exploration and production, asset acquisitions, asset dispositions and joint venture agreements.
David received his J.D., summa cum laude, from South Texas College of Law, where he was the Executive Editor of the South Texas Law Review. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeff Bohm of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas and the Honorable David Hittner of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
David is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Texas. Prior to law school, he worked as a senior assurance associate at Grant Thornton LLP in Dallas, Texas.
