Jamie Godsey is an associate in the litigation practice group of Porter Hedges. Her practice focuses on all types of business and commercial litigation.
While in law school, Jamie served as a member of the South Texas Law Review and the Board of Advocates. She was a semi-finalist in various Moot Court competitions and served as a Langdell scholar for six semesters. Jamie was inducted into the Order of the Lytae and was a member of the Dean’s Honor List. In addition, she received awards for the highest grades in legal research and writing, contracts, property, and Texas criminal procedure.
During law school, Jamie interned for Judge Jennifer W. Elrod of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Roy L. Moore of the 245th Family Court for Harris County, Texas. Prior to and throughout law school, she was a Spanish Teacher for Goose Creek ISD.
