Jonna Summers is a partner in the litigation practice group of Porter Hedges.   She focuses on resolving disputes for clients before trial courts and on appeal.  She is often brought in to implement a strategy to obtain relief through motion practice. She aids trial teams in error preservation, assists in the preparation of jury charges and post-judgment motions, and handles the appeal when the need arises. Jonna has significant experience handling matters related to the energy industry, intellectual property, bankruptcy, and general commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Porter Hedges, Jonna was a law clerk for the Honorable Harold R. DeMoss, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Honorable Michael H. Schneider of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
