Paralegal - Bankruptcy Section
The Bankruptcy paralegal will maintain large bankruptcy case files, profile case documents in the Firm’s iManage document management software, draft documents in Microsoft Word, produce asset spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, pull documents as requested, produce document notebooks for attorneys and perform other duties as required. Qualified candidates will offer a four-year college degree (or the equivalent of four years of paralegal experience), at least five years of bankruptcy and litigation paralegal work experience, a certificate confirming the completion of a paralegal training course.
Also required are the flexibility and communication skills to work with all levels of firm personnel as well as with individuals outside the firm, a certificate confirming the completion of a paralegal training course, and proficiency in the use of document management software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Summation, and PDF software (Acrobat, Nuance, etc.).
