Information Processor (Word Processor/Help Desk Duties)


Responsibilities include: typing and revising a variety of litigation and transactional legal documents often under tight timelines; providing an excellent word processing work product and dependable proofreading skills; and offering effective technical assistance to Firm personnel as a member of the Help Desk.

Candidates must be available to work from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and additional weekday hours as needed and rotational weekend hours as assigned.

Requirements include: strong computer software skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and iManage (or other document management system) as well as redlining and other ancillary software; good organizational skills; effective, clear written and verbal communication skills; and at least 60 words per minute typing skills. A college degree or certificate from a technical school is preferred, plus five years related experience and/or training in a law firm or other legal information processing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
