This position will support several business litigation and construction attorneys, handling multiple cases in state and federal court, as well as domestic and international arbitrations. The selected candidate will assist in all aspects of the litigation process, including providing support for attorneys in the discovery process, motion practice, as well as hearings, mediations, trials, and arbitrations. The ideal candidate will offer: five or more years of litigation paralegal experience, including actual in-courtroom trial experience; a college degree or equivalent experience; strong organizational and communication skills; extensive experience working with document review tools such as Eclipse, as well as other hosted document review tools; proficiency in state and federal court pleadings, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, iManage and Outlook; experience working with trial presentation software, such as Sanction or Trial Director, and Case Notebook (or similar case management tools); availability for overtime hours, evenings, weekends, and travel, as needed. The candidate should also have familiarity with researching the real property records and preparing bond and lien claims. Certified Legal Assistant or Certified Paralegal is also preferred.
