Charles McGee represents developers, purchasers, sellers, lenders, borrowers, equity investors, and other individuals and entities in a variety of real estate transactions. He focuses his practice on general real estate law and the representation of clients in an array of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, development, financing and leasing of office buildings, industrial properties, multi-family projects, shopping centers and mixed-use assets located throughout the country. Charles regularly drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing agreements and related contracts, conducts reviews of due diligence items, including comprehensive title, survey and zoning matters, as well as prepares objections and curative documentation.

Prior to joining Porter Hedges, Charles was an associate at Golden Steves & Gordon LLP where he focused his practice on advising real estate developers, investors, and corporate operators in all aspects of commercial real estate development.

While in law school, Charles received the Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund Award for excellence in real estate. He also served as a Corporate Counsel Extern for Delta Air Lines, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.
