Charles L. Sharman focuses on commercial litigation. He provides advice with regard to, among other things, breach of contract; various tort claims including tortious interference, fraud and fraudulent inducement, breach of fiduciary duties, and negligence and gross negligence; oil and gas related issues, including midstream related disputes, oil trading related disputes, and oil royalty claims; the Texas Public Information Act; antitrust issues; and securities related issues.
Prior to law school, he taught English and art history and coached baseball, water polo and swimming at his alma mater, Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.
During law school, he won the CALI Award (top grade) in Antitrust, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, and Secured Transactions; participated on the Marquette Law School National Black Law Students Association Mock Trial Regional Team; participated as a mediator in small claims court through Marquette’s Mediation Clinic; and was elected by his classmates to deliver the graduation commencement address.
