Jack Byrom is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Construction Law and has substantial experience in both construction and civil litigation. His practice includes a broad range of construction matters, including lien and bond claims under the Texas Property and Government Codes, project delay and disruption claims, change order disputes, construction defect claims, and breach of warranty. Jack also has experience representing all sides of these disputes, including owners, contractors, subcontractors, architects, and other design professionals.
Jack's litigation experience includes cases in both state and federal courts nationwide at the trial and appellate levels. He also has experience in arbitration proceedings both in the U.S. and around the world through the American Arbitration Association (both domestically and through the International Centre for Dispute Resolution), the International Chamber of Commerce, the Society of Marine Arbitrators, and JAMS.
Jack serves on the Firm's Recruiting and Pro Bono Committees. He also sings tenor with the Houston Chamber Choir and was on hand to receive its Grammy award for Best Choral Performance in 2020.
