Jack Byrom’s practice includes a broad range of construction matters representing owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and architects and design professionals. His experience covers all facets of construction from contract execution through delivery and management of post-delivery warranties, including lien and bond claims under the Texas Property and Government Codes, project delay and disruption claims, change order disputes, construction defect claims, and breach of warranty. Jack's practice also includes substantial brief writing, some of which has been incorporated into judicial opinions that define the black letter Texas law on these issues.

Jack's litigation experience includes cases in both state and federal courts nationwide at the trial and appellate levels. He also has experience in arbitration proceedings both in the U.S. and around the world through the American Arbitration Association (both domestically and through the International Centre for Dispute Resolution), the International Chamber of Commerce, the Society of Marine Arbitrators, and JAMS.

Jack serves on the Firm's Recruiting and Pro Bono Committees. He also sings tenor with the Houston Chamber Choir and was on hand to receive its Grammy award for Best Choral Performance in 2020.
