Porter Hedges Named 2025 Midsize Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year by the Houston Bar Foundation

The Houston Bar Foundation recognized Porter Hedges with the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Mid-Size Firm Pro Bono Award for 2025, honoring the firm’s sustained commitment to pro bono service across the greater Houston area.

The award recognizes Porter Hedges’ work on behalf of multiple nonprofit and community organizations, including its support of The Beacon, which champions equal justice for individuals experiencing homelessness and low-income Houstonians while working to address the conditions that marginalize vulnerable populations.

Each year, the Houston Bar Foundation honors law firms, legal departments, and individuals for outstanding pro bono contributions. The awards were presented at the Houston Bar Foundation Annual Luncheon on February 17, 2026. Recipients are selected by the Houston Bar Association Harris County Bench Bar Pro Bono Awards Committee.
