Porter Hedges Represents Sapphire Technologies in $18 Million Series C Funding

Porter Hedges represented Sapphire Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of power generation equipment, in the closing of its $18 million Series C funding round. The investment – including funding from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and existing investors Equinor Ventures, Cooper and Company, and Energy Capital Ventures – will be used to expand Sapphire’s new Cypress, California manufacturing facility, to continue to grow the installed base of FreeSpin In-Line Turboexpanders in key geographies such as Japan, and to expand market reach into new applications.

Based in Cypress, California, Sapphire Technologies develops and manufactures modular power generation equipment for pressure energy projects.

Porter Hedges previously represented Sapphire Technologies in its Series A funding round that was secured in October 2021, as well as their Series B funding that was secured in August 2023.
