Porter Hedges Elects Two Partners for 2016

Porter Hedges announced today that Brian G. Rose (Corporate) and Janine E. Yee (Finance) have been elected as partners effective January 1, 2016.

“Brian and Janine have a strong commitment to both their clients and the Firm and are also rising stars in their respective areas of practice.  We are very proud to welcome them to the partnership and look forward to their continued contributions,” said Managing Partner Rob Reedy.

Brian Rose (Corporate)
Mr. Rose’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity financings, including representation of borrowers in bank credit facilities and issuers in private equity transactions.  He also regularly advises mezzanine lenders and venture capital funds in their investments.  He works with both private and public companies across a range of industries, with a particular focus on the energy, manufacturing, architecture and engineering sectors.  Mr. Rose received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Janine E. Yee (Finance)
Ms. Yee’s practice focuses on representing both lenders and borrowers in a variety of commercial financings, including working capital credit facilities, syndicated credit facilities, letters of credit, acquisition financings, and other types of secured and unsecured financings. She also represents clients in real estate acquisition and construction loan transactions, asset-based loan transactions, and loan restructurings and foreclosures.  Ms. Yee received her J.D from The University of Texas School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from The University of Texas at Austin.  She is active in the Firm’s Women’s Initiative and serves on the board of the Lupus Foundation of America Texas Gulf Coast Chapter
