Joshua Wolfshohl Elected Fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation
Joshua Wolfshohl has been elected a Fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation (HBF). HBF Fellows are an exclusive group of lawyers in Houston who are dedicated to making a positive impact in our community by supporting legal representation for those in need, promoting understanding of our legal system, and fostering the administration of justice in our Houston community.
In 2025, Porter Hedges was named “Midsize Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year” by the HBF, honoring the firm’s sustained commitment to pro bono services across the greater Houston region.
The HBF is the primary local supporter of the important pro bono services provided through the Houston Volunteer Lawyers (HVL). Through HVL, over 1,500 people a year are represented by pro bono attorneys and hundreds more receive assistance through legal advice clinics. HBF support for HVL allows some of our neediest neighbors—children, victims of domestic violence, veterans of our armed services and many others—access to the legal assistance they desperately need but cannot afford.
