Porter Hedges Announces 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinders

Porter Hedges is pleased to announce that Emily Pendleton and Daisy Puente have been selected as members of the 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinder Program.

The LCLD Pathfinder Program was developed to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. The seven-month professional program trains diverse, high-performing, early-career attorneys on foundational leadership and relationship-building.

Emily focuses her practice on complex construction litigation. She has experience representing clients in a broad range of construction matters, including lien and bond claims, project delay and disruption claims, change order disputes, issues of default, and construction defect claims. Emily also assists clients in analyzing risk in connection with construction transactions. She also serves on the Firm’s Recruiting Committee.

Daisy represents borrowers and lenders in a variety of commercial financings, including working capital facilities, syndicated credit facilities, letters of credit, acquisition financings, franchise financings, real estate and construction loans, asset-based loan transactions, and other types of secured and unsecured financings.
