Daisy Puente represents borrowers and lenders in a variety of commercial financings, including working capital facilities, syndicated credit facilities, letters of credit, acquisition financings, franchise financings, real estate and construction loans, asset-based loan transactions, and other types of secured and unsecured financings. Daisy previously acted as a volunteer prosecutor with the Harris County District Attorney’s office.

Daisy completed the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Pathfinder Program in 2023 and received the Atlas Award recognition for her engagement throughout the program. She remains active in the organization’s alumni efforts.

Prior to joining Porter Hedges, Daisy was an associate at an AmLaw 200 firm. She has served as a judicial intern for The Honorable George C. Hanks, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas as well as for The Honorable Edith H. Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.
