Gabriel Loperena is a partner in the corporate practice group of Porter Hedges. His practice focuses on corporate governance and general corporate representation, public and private offerings of equity and debt securities, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, debt, and venture capital financings, leveraged recapitalizations and management buyouts, and formation, structuring, and financing of new ventures and special purpose entities. He has represented clients in a variety of businesses, including SBICs and other private equity and debt investment firms, energy E&P companies, hospitality companies and medical services providers.

While in law school, Gabriel served as Executive Editor of The Tax Lawyer at the Georgetown University Law Center. He was an intern for Judge Rafael Diaz of the Superior Court, District of Columbia.
