Porter Hedges Elects Five New Partners for 2019

Porter Hedges announced today that Amy C. Falcon, Stephanie L. Holcombe, Gabriel M. Loperena, Adam K. Nalley, and Jonna N. Summers have been elected as partners effective January 1, 2019.

Amy Falcon represents clients in business and commercial litigation with a focus on oil and gas disputes. Her clients include international exploration and production companies, midstream companies, operators, non-operators, financial institutions, oil and gas equipment manufacturers, and individuals.  Prior to joining Porter Hedges, she was a law clerk for the Honorable Terry Jennings (Ret.) of the Texas First Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas.

   
  Stephanie Holcombe is a trial attorney who works with companies and their owners and executives to manage the full range of issues related to business disputes—from how to control risk and avoid litigation in the first place to how to successfully manage ongoing litigation in a strategic and cost-effective manner.  She represents clients in state and federal court trials, as well as arbitration, on a variety of issues related to energy, trade secrets, and employment. 
   
 

Gabriel Loperena focuses on private equity, debt, venture capital financings, leveraged recapitalizations and management buyouts, mergers & acquisitions, and formation, structuring, and financing of new ventures and special purpose entities. His clients include private equity and debt investment firms, energy E&P companies, hospitality companies, and medical services providers.

   
 

Adam Nalley focuses his practice on representing public and private companies in corporate and securities matters, including equity and debt capital markets transactions, mergers & acquisitions, SEC compliance, private equity investments, corporate governance, and general corporate and commercial matters. He represents clients in a variety of industries, including the energy (upstream, midstream, and downstream), oilfield services, clean tech, death care services, and manufacturing industries. He also represents investment banking firms, investors and issuers in capital market transactions. 

   
 

Jonna Summers focuses on resolving disputes for clients before trial courts and on appeal. She works with clients in a myriad of areas, including energy, intellectual property, bankruptcy, and general commercial litigation. Prior to joining Porter Hedges, she was a law clerk for the Honorable Harold R. DeMoss, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Honorable Michael H. Schneider of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
