Porter Hedges Represents Cal-Chlor in its Acquisition by PVS Chemicals

Porter Hedges represented Cal-Chlor Corp. (“Cal-Chlor”) in its acquisition by PVS Chemicals, Inc. (“PVS Chemicals”). The transaction closed on April 30, 2026.

Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, Cal-Chlor is the largest independent provider of value-added packaging and distribution solutions to the North American calcium chloride marketplace.

Founded in 1945 and headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, PVS Chemicals is a global manufacturer, distributor, and marketer of high-quality chemical products, serving customers across North America, Europe, and Asia.

The Porter Hedges team was led by Kevin Poli and Megan Luh, with assistance from Geoff Schultz, Mandy Diaz, and Rachel Bielamowicz. GulfStar Group served as the exclusive financial advisor to Cal-Chlor and Broussard Poche, LLP covered tax and accounting.
