Porter Hedges Secures Trade Secrets Trial Victory

A Porter Hedges trial team representing Tech Con Trenching, CTS Manufacturing, and owner David Conlon secured victory after a six-day jury trial before the Honorable Reed O’Connor in the U.S. District Court in Fort Worth. The Plaintiff alleged misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, conspiracy, and tortious interference.

The trial was the culmination of a three-year legal battle that began in March of 2019. After deliberating for a little over two hours, the jury returned a verdict that the Plaintiff did not have trade secrets in the materials at issue. The jury also concluded there was no tortious interference with a contract. All claims were dismissed.
