Porter Hedges Partners Named to Houston Business Journal’s Who’s Who in Energy List

Porter Hedges is pleased to announce that Randy King, Gene Nettles and Bob Thomas have been selected for inclusion in the Houston Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Energy” list as “key players in the energy industry.” The list includes top executives from across multiple energy sectors representing law, accounting, finance, oil and gas, utilities, midstream, education and more.

Mr. King and Mr. Thomas are co-chairs for the Porter Hedges energy practice. Mr. King’s areas of expertise include domestic and international energy-related projects onshore, offshore, upstream and midstream. Mr. Thomas’ professional areas of expertise include advising domestic and international oil and gas companies in all phases of the energy business with emphasis on upstream and midstream segments of the industry.

Mr. Nettles is chair of the Porter Hedges energy litigation practice. His practice focuses on all types of energy disputes ranging from gas purchase contract interpretation, preferential rights issues, removal of operators, interpretation over join operating agreements and exploration agreements, gas plant accounting issues, royalty disputes, take or pay disputes and the like.
