Porter Hedges Represents Private Party in Contribution of Mineral and Royalty Interests to Dorchester Minerals

Porter Hedges represented a private party in connection with a contribution and exchange agreement whereby the private party will contribute its mineral and royalty interests to Dorchester Minerals, L.P. (the “Partnership”) (NASDAQ: DMLP). The mineral and royalty interests represent 4,600 net royalty acres located in 27 counties across New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. The private party will convey its interests to the Partnership in exchange for 1,580,000 common limited partnership units of the Partnership.

The Porter Hedges team consisted of James Cowen, James Thompson, Scott Muehlberger, and Geoff Schultz.

Dorchester Minerals, L.P. is a Dallas-based owner of producing and non-producing oil and natural gas mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, net profits, and leasehold interests located in 26 states.
